Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival / Mumbai  You will be met at the arrival’s hall at International airport. Transfer and check in to airport hotel. Rest of day and evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel (TBA).

Day 2

Mumbai / Udaipur/ Bera Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to domestic airport for your short flight to Udaipur. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your wilderness lodge in Bera. Enjoy an afternoon jeep Safari for your first taste of the wildlife. Dinner & overnight at Bera Safari Lodge.

Day 3

Bera Early morning jeep Safari to surrounding Leopard country. Return to Lodge for breakfast. This afternoon set off again on another private jeep Safari to spot wildlife and visit the local Shepherd communities. Dinner & overnight at Bera Safari Lodge.

Day 4

Bera / Jodhpur Breakfast at the Lodge. This morning drive to the desert ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur. This afternoon set off on a heritage walking tour through the Blue City and visit the impressive Mehrangarh Fort. Overnight at Ratan Vilas.

Day 5

Jodhpur Breakfast at the Lodge. Today you will head off into the desert on a specially curated jeep Safari. Visit local Shepherd communities and enjoy a lunch in a rural village setting. Overnight at Ratan Vilas.

Day 6

Jodhpur / Delhi Breakfast then depart to the domestic airport for your flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival check in to your airport hotel and enjoy the rest of your day and evening at leisure to explor, shop or relax. Overnight at Novotel Aerocity.

Day 7

Delhi / Pench Breakfast and transfer to domestic airport for your short flight to Nagpur. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your wilderness Lodge in Pench. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner and overnight at Jamtara Wilderness Camp.

Day 8

Pench Breakfast at the Lodge. Today you will enjoy morning and afternoon jeep Safaris. Learn about your surroundings and spot wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Jamtara Wilderness Camp.

Day 9

Pench / Tadoba Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart on your drive to your next National Park. Upon arrival check into your Jungle camp. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. Dinner and overnight at Svasara Jungle Lodge.

Day 10

Tadoba Today you will enjoy two game drives in nearby Tadoba National Park, famous for its Tigers and diversity of wildlife. Overnight at the Svasara Jungle Lodge.

Day 11

Tadoba Another to enjoy two more game drives in nearby Tadoba National Park to spot Tigers and other wildlife. Overnight at the Svasara Jungle Lodge.

Day 12

Tadoba / Delhi Breakfast at the Lodge. After breakfast, depart on your drive to the domestic airport for your flight back to Delhi. Upon arrival check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of day and evening at leisure for more shopping and exploring. Overnight at Novotel Aerocity.

Day 13

Delhi / Departure Breakfast at hotel. Drive to the International airport for your flight home.

Mumbai formerly Bombay, is the gateway to India and it is big. A thriving metropolis of colour and sounds, an estimated population of 14 million. Home to the ‘Bollywood’ film industry, named for ‘Bombay’ and ‘Hollywood’. The genre mixes action, comedy, romance, drama along with musical numbers. Formerly, the base for the British East India Company, a colonial and trade influence remains. Mumbai is India’s financial powerhouse and fashion epicentre. This city truly is pulsating with life and full of vibrancy. The heart of the city contains some of the world’s grandest colonial-era architecture, but explore a little more and you’ll uncover unique bazaars, hidden temples, hipster enclaves and India’s premier restaurants and nightlife.

Taj Mahal Sunset at the iconic Taj Mahal, the world’s most iconic and beautiful building, is truly one of the wonders of the world. The Taj was designated a World Heritage Site in 1983 and looks nearly as immaculate today as when it was first constructed. It is very much part of what makes ‘Incredible India’ incredible. As for money, you'll be dealing in Indian rupees - there are about 55 rupees to each Aussie dollar. Credit cards are widely accepted, but make sure you know all your pin codes as signing has been phased out around the country.

WHERE TO SHOP

Rajasthan is famous for its colourful embroidered textiles, clothing, homewares, gemstones, silver & gold jewellery, pottery, carpets and durrie rugs, antiques and furniture. As well as miniature paintings, papier mache puppets and embroidered leather shoes.

To buy precious and semi-precious gemstones head to the "pink city" of Jaipur, where gorgeous blue-glazed pottery is also made. Jodhpur holds a treasure trove of shopping bounty.

Marble wares inspired by the Taj Mahal, some of them exquisitely detailed and inlaid with semi-precious stones, can be sourced in Agra, while Varanasi is a popular place to pick up silk and saris.

Delhi is globally recognised for quality and very affordable pricing across a variety of goods.

Mumbai take your pick of jewellery, Sarees or block-printed fabric, Art and of course Retro Bollywood posters and postcards.

Goa is well known for its beautiful variety of decorative Azulejos Tiles. cashew nuts and spices, coconut decor, beachwear, bags and accessories. As well as a variety of hats and musical instruments.

Kerala is known for oils and essence. The best and purest forms of oils and essence are found here. Kochi’s options to shop almost rivals its obsession with food. Pick up an array of packaged spices on offer, such as cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, nutmeg, tamarind, cloves and bay leaves… let the wafting aromas guide you there.

In Cochin there are many varieties of cotton clothes and silk emporiums... you can’t leave without buying at least one traditional saree. Along with colourful bead handicrafts, brass bangles, metal mirrors, silver and gold jewellery.
