Day 1
Arrive Adelaide Upon arrival at Adelaide airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check in then meet for welcome drinks and tour briefing before heading off to discover Adelaide on an Eco Caddy tour. Finish your day off with a spectacular 3 course Welcome dinner. Day 2
Adelaide / Barossa Valley A day tour that explores the most famous wine brands in the country. Start by visiting ‘Torbreck Vintners’ which has brought together some of the finest vineyards and growers in the region to make their ultra-premium wines, which have been given the perfect 100-point score five times by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. Take a private cellar door tasting of some of their very best wines. Next stop is ‘Chateau Tanunda’ for a tour of their world-famous barrel hall and a seated tasting of their iconic wines. Enjoy lunch at local Barossa legend, ‘Vintners Restaurant’, where all the locals have gone for decades, a place which reflects the very best local, seasonal produce. After lunch visit the ‘Vasse Virgin Skin Care and Olive Oil Factory’, where staff will show you their range of natural skin care products, using a traditional cold process method, then enjoy the incredible ‘Taste Your Birth Year Experience’ at ‘Seppeltsfield’ where you get to taste a fine tawny port direct from the barrel of your birth year. Finish the day with a panoramic 4WD trip into ‘Jacob’s Creek Steingarten Vineyard’, which stretches across 3.6 hectares of the Barossa Ranges. The name ‘steingarten’ translates to ‘stone garden’ and you will enjoy spectacular views from this most famous vineyard. Transfer to your accommodation. Day 3
Barossa Valley / Hahndorf After breakfast depart the Barossa Valley and head to the Adelaide Hills where we will clamber up to some of the highest wineries in this region. Enjoy spectacular vineyard vistas and experience the best of local produce and wine along the way. Visit Maggie Beers farm shop before arriving at ‘Tapannapa Wines’ to see a piece of SA winemaking history visiting the first vineyard site in the Adelaide Hills, tasting some of the finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the region. For lunch we will take a drive through glorious rolling countryside and vineyards to finish with the most famous sparkling producer in the Adelaide Hills, ‘Deviation Road Wines’. Deviation Road Winery is regarded as the signature sparkling winemaker in the country. It produces exciting cool climate wines from mature vineyard resources in the Adelaide Hills. Owners Hamish and Kate Laurie continue a five-generation winemaking tradition. Devoted to the high-altitude sites of the Adelaide Hills and with Kate’s French oenology training, the wines they produce are at once traditional and contemporary. Enjoy a lunch of local produce and classic wine at Deviation Road Wines including their most precious sparkling wines. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy an afternoon at your leisure. Let us book you a spa treatment if you want to indulge. This evening you will dine at one of the state’s most acclaimed degustation dinner experiences, at ‘Hardy’s Verandah’ restaurant. Day 4
Hahndorf / Adelaide Hills After breakfast you will head off with our first visit to the famous Adelaide Hills Providore, the ‘Beerenberg Family Farm’ is an iconic 6th generation Australian 'pick your own' strawberry farm. Guests have the option of picking their own strawberries in the Strawberry Patch and/or visiting the iconic farm shop for a selection of local jams, delicacies and produce. Next you will drive to Lane Vineyard where you will enjoy a seasonal gourmet picnic lunch at one of 7 picturesque locations on the estate. After lunch visit ‘Ambleside Distillers’. The family behind Ambleside has created a beautiful distillery from the garden up. Passionate about sourcing local since day one, they have grown their own botanicals in their distillery garden, and are recognised as one of the best craft gin producers in the region. Enjoy a tasting of their 3 signature gins, with their bartenders taking you through the unique tasting notes on each gin. Next we will take a trip to picturesque German town ‘Hahndorf’ and the local migration museum. The museum tells stories of the lives of pioneering families, and houses series of visual art exhibitions showcasing the work of local, national and international artists. We’ll finish the day with a visit to the Aboriginal Art House, custodians of some of the most magical works of Aboriginal art from the central and western deserts of Australia. Day 5
Hanhdorf / McLaren Vale ‘Coast & Gorge tour’ After breakfast you will start your day with a majestic 4WD tour into Onkaparinga Gorge to learn its indigenous history, see native animals and immerse yourself in a landscape that dates back 600 million years. DOMESTIKKA has exclusive licence to drive into the gorge so you can see first-hand all of its wonder & majesty. Enjoy a drive around the perimeter of the gorge as you trace the links of McLaren Vale’s ancient geology into its modern-day vineyards. After the gorge we’ll head into McLaren Vale where your private behind the scenes wine journey starts with a tour of Wirra Wirra’s historic ironstone cellars, ringing the famous Angelus Bell and hearing your efforts peal across the vale, followed by a tasting of some of Wirra Wirra’s best wines. Next stop is boutique winemaker, Samson Tall, surrounded by the first Church Block vineyards, this beautiful chapel is home to some of the best single vineyard wines in McLaren Vale. You’ll enjoy a private winery tour and tasting with owner and winemaker, Paul Wilson, followed by lunch at local favourite ‘Harry’s Deli’. After lunch we’ll visit ‘d’Arenberg’ to see the avant-garde, rubik’s cube inspired cellar door. d’Arenberg is a founding member of Australia’s first families of wine, and the flamboyant five-story cube erupts from the ground (designed by Chester Osborn) in the heart of its original McLaren Vale vineyard. Enjoy a guided tour of the cube and its Alternate Realities Museum plus a tasting on the top floor, with its stunning views across McLaren Vale and the coast. After your visit of the cube, we will set off for one of the best experiences on the Fleurieu Peninsula, a drive down pristine Silver Sands beach to see spectacular coastal views & its biodiversity. On the way, we will stop to see the region’s most iconic pub, the ‘Victory Hotel’, owned by character and wine aficionado Doug Govan, where we’ll stop for a look at his iconic cellar. Enjoy a wild coast BBQ for dinner at a private lookout on the property of Simon Burley, owner of the Coastal Lodge retreat. Overnight at the Coastal Lodge Carrickalinga
Day 6
McLaren Vale / Adelaide Start your day after breakfast with a private masterclass overlooking the estate at Bekkers Fine Wine with one of the owners, recently named by Gourmet Traveller Wine as one of the top 6 wineries in the country. You’ll meet either Toby or Emmanuelle Bekkers to learn the secrets behind this prestigious label in a stunning private tasting overlooking their beautiful property. Enjoy lunch at one of the Vale’s most famous restaurants, the Salopian Inn, owned by Chef Karena Armstrong. Karena hails from globally celebrated restaurants including Daylesford’s Lake House and Icebergs in Sydney’s Bondi Beach, and now owns the Salopian Inn in McLaren Vale. Her approach of bringing exceptional local produce to plate has seen the Salopian Inn named in both Tasting Australia’s and the Australian Financial Review’s Top 100 Australian Restaurants. Heading to a beautiful vineyard high up in McLaren Vale, we’ll stop to see Rob Mack, winner of the 2018 Young Gun of Wine, enjoying a tasting of his award-winning Aphelion Wines as we walk through one of the highest vineyards in the region, with majestic unspoilt views of McLaren Vale and the coast that sits behind it. Late afternoon we’ll head to Adelaide and check into your hotel. Dinner will be at your leisure at the hotels Mayflower restaurant. Overnight at the Mayfair hotel, Adelaide

Adelaide Enjoy breakfast and then transfer to the airport for your departure & flight back home.
